Good mic, Jim? Do you know how it might compare to the infamous (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19288) Rode NTK? From the link that Cannon provides, it's a good deal cheaper, and it comes in a very handsome box.

Also, are Avlex/Superlux ECOH6A condensers junk?
