I just noticed that pricejapan is going to discontinue shipping the gs 100. Is there another model coming out?

No GS100 replacement has been announced. As far as pricejapan dropping this cam, I don't know why they would. Allan will be able to get this cam for many more months to come, I'm sure, but I'm not sure about the black version---since they were a hot ticket item in Japan. Did you order from Tim, or Supervid via pricejapan?

I ordered via the internet. My e-mail contact was Kaneda. He just answered my 'replacement model' question:

"New model will be released on June, this year (roughly in 100 days)

We don't know any information about it.

Well, 2, 3-chip Pana cams have already been announced, but they ain't no GS100 replacement. I'm looking forward if Pana delivers the goods. Thanks for the info.
