Call me crazy - call me nuts - my wife thinks I'm just obsessed. I just spent an hour getting english characters onto the GS100 remote. Sure, I could have bought one from B&H but I needed something else to do tonight besides tying trout flies.

Here's a pic:

Yeah, I could of used duct tape (the default Vermont fix-it-all solution) but opted to use my Brother labeling maching. Sure, I could of used the white on black tape but only had the gold on black in my closet. Guess I could also buy the black on silver tape to match the areas that have the silver silk screening. Anyway, the gold lettering look nice too.

My only regret - I forgot to bring home my dental magnification loupes (3.6x) to even get more precise cuts and placement of the labels.

Next project - some essential labels on the cam itself so my wife can use it at a moments notice to tape our two dogs.

LOL, ya know I think a DV953 remote would work with the gs100

The MX5K and GS100 use the same remote control. So the 953 remote should be the same as well, but in English.
