Dustin Waits February 17th, 2004, 08:35 AM Wow. It's scary how real that is. Theres nothing that I hate more than drunk drivers. I liked the video. Really quick and to the point. Just like your last one "whats in your playground". Keep up the good work.
Dylan Couper February 17th, 2004, 09:49 AM ANother good piece Colin, although the flow of the edit after the girl gets smoked (nice!) by the car seems to be a little off pace. Also, possibly a little dark for web delivery.
I'd trim up the editing on the last few seconds, otherwise, very nice.
Bryan Mitchell February 18th, 2004, 02:13 AM It wasn't too dark on my monitor, but I think we have established that I may have the brightest one on the planet lol. Very nice psa once again. I thought the edit after the crash was a little off too. A minor fix there should make it great.
Colin Minihan February 18th, 2004, 02:19 AM fastinating.. what is it about the last part you do not like??? i ask only because i find this to be the most impacting way to cut it... and keep it 30 seconds long.
Bryan Mitchell February 18th, 2004, 03:06 AM At the 33 second mark, I would make the closeup last just a bit longer.... And actually, the more I watch it... on the 7th time now... It looks better and better. I suppose you could leave it alone. It looks pretty darn good. The more I watch it, the harder it is to find the place that I thought was off the first time. Wierd.
Colin Minihan February 18th, 2004, 03:45 AM yeah.. im just gonna leave it.. the only thing i would do if i had more time than 30 seconds.. is show the guy run out into the road towards her on that last angle with the flowers... and fade to black during that...
no biggy.
thanks for the feedback.
Dylan Couper February 18th, 2004, 09:07 PM Colin, I think I have a problem with the cut just before the flowers fall. I don't have the time to rewatch it right now.
Bob Safay February 22nd, 2004, 06:22 AM Colin, it was hard, it hit me hard. It really showed that it can all be gone in a blink of the eye. Almost to hard, but it sure as hell gets the message out. Oh, I watched it (and the other) several times and keep the end the way it is. VERY dramatic, and I did not think it to dark. Bob
Colin Minihan February 22nd, 2004, 11:06 PM glad u liked it!!!! now only if i could get it on tv somehow................
Terry Lyons March 21st, 2004, 04:39 PM Colin I thought it was great! I didn't see any problem at the end, although my monitor is a bit dark so maby I missed something. Good job!
Federico Prieto April 9th, 2004, 05:52 PM Excellent job mate.......well done!!!!
Congratulations
FP
Josh Brusin April 9th, 2004, 08:02 PM Well executed. "Girl gets hit by drunk driver" doesn't really say anything to me but it was well done.
