Yes its true,

Not only does the Panasonic GS70 have strong EE (edge enhancement), but so does its brother the DV953 (but to a lesser extent).

As an aside, the DV953 has notible cross-talk artifacts in the left and right vertical stripes (red and green artifacts).

alot of new cams (even "pro" cams have this feature..

you would be surprised at how many.. canon are also on teh wagon...

edge enhancement has its purposes, i jstu wish there was an actual setting for it...

at this time, all u can do is adjsut teh "sharpness" to lower the "enhancement" sometimes its not needed, other times its a godsend...
