Hi all,
I was looking for some ideas/suggestions. I am shooting a project that concludes with a scene in which a room is covered in ice, with a wall of ice between the protagonist and a woman (she is in the ice room). I have ZERO resources, but I need to figure out how I could possibly achieve this ice room look. I have thought that I can take a piece of plexiglass and cover it with some clear substance (i.e. vasoline or similar) to make the ice wall that exists between the man and woman (the camera would shoot through this), but I have no idea going about making the rest of the room look like a winter wonderland. BTW the room has dark green furniture, the walls are a lighter pale green and hardwood flooring. I am not experiencedafter effects or anything, so I would prefer some solution that doesn't require exteremly intensive post work, but I do have Adobe Premiere to work with. I would GREATLY appeciate if anyone has any suggestions, thank you!

You can buy that fake snow looking stuff people spray on windows for X-mas decorations. It comes in a spray can, but you'll probably need several cans.

my grandma had this stuff you spray on glass or mirrors that dries looking like ice. lot better than that fake sno crap ( but that was the first thing i thought of too) I have no idea what its called, or any thing else helpful... ask at a craft store? they re full of old ladies with nothing better to do. and they always have candy... good luck!

Yep! I picked up some of that stuff at a local craft store, it should work quite well. Does anyone have any other ideas, like changing the room or doing something in post? I have time to plan, so I'd like to try to work out the feasibility issues now....thanks again!
