I'm considering buying one of the new Panasonic HPX301 cameras and cannot confirm how Premiere can deal with the files. To make it worse, one of the internet sites that has the camera listed, shows Adobe Premiere as one of the accessories?
Premiere seems to be able to handle
DVCPROHD 1080i 24P
DVCPROHD 1080i 50i
DVCPROHD 1080i 60i
DVCPROHD 720p 24p
DVCPROHD 720p 50p
DVCPROHD 720p 60p
The camera can provide media at some of those, so that would seem to be ok, but are there any problems shooting in any of these - format wise to a UK producer?
At some point, maybe Adobe will provide an intra upgrade?
All so damn complicated. I'm obviously based in the UK, so 25 and 50 frame rates are much simpler for me. I expect that I'll just have to accept that I will be shooting in DVCPROHD until the intra format is available from adobe - or have I misunderstood?
