Anyone know of a company that sells a mini RC helictoper with a gyro rig for my little Canon HV30 type cameras?

Roger Shealy April 16th, 2009, 08:17 PM Don't think a mini will handle the HV30. Take a look at http://www.rchelisite.com/using_rc_helicopters_for_aerial_photography_and_videography.php and YouTube - Aerial footage-Shot from Copterworks AF25B RC helicopter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kq-B_4AuDnY) Don't try this unless you really know how to fly one of these jewels, they are tough to fly, expensive to buy and repair, and fragile! Also if you go with gas (more powerful - 50 size or larger), you'll have to deal with exhaust and fuel mist, which might be a problem, as well as more noise. If you go with electric (550 size or bigger), you'll have less flight time, lower ceilings, less lifting power, but much quieter and easier maintenance. I'm not an expert, but my son was in this as a hobby for a while and was feeding me the info for this post.
