Does anyone know if one of these heads is better/worse than the other? I'm looking to get a cheap fluid head and theses two seems to be in the same price range.

Any help would be appreciated.

The 700C2 is the new head. I bought it early in the year and recently upgraded to a 503. With the 503 I can do pans and tilts that I couldn't dream of with the 700C2.

Unless you are really poor, I would spend the extra $170 and get the 503. Its worth it.
