I have one XL1s but am loooking to purchase a second camera. I have read a lot of the speculation and guessing concerning a new Canon. I have a couple months that I can push off this second purchase but end up missing the 500.00 rebate. Do you feel it is better to just sit back and wait or make the purchase now and hope for the best?

Nobody (at least nobody who can talk about it) knows the status of a successor to the XL1s. I'm afraid you're on your own regarding a purchase decision.

It's a waiting game, a game which I don't play anymore. :-))
