I was watching the opening of tonight's Brokaw news. For the part of downloadable movies, they used a Digital Juice background. I don't know why that surprises me, but I figured they'd use something they'd create in their graphics department...

I bet they let their graphics people go when the economy got bad. They probably got jobs at Digital Juice and now NBC is paying more for it in ratings loss...

It never ends.

Nightly News does well, but the Today Show is losing its ground.

Most of those layoffs happened when Katie Couric was signed to a lucrative deal. working in news, we learn these things.

Yeah, I hear you. I worked at an affiliate ABC station in news for 5 years. I learned a lot, but mostly that it wasn't want I wanted to do for more than 5 years. lol

You see a lot huh? I covered stuff when reporters were out...big stuff. I saw dead bodies, things that would make most people cry...the whole deal over and over. Also, covered two NH Primaries...every network in the world was banging on our door. I've got lots of stories..just like you do, I'm sure.

Down in FL it must be a lot of crime in the city? I lived down there in Daytona, Orlando..and Eustis. It had a lot of crime for what some people out of FL think is senior land. It's funny, but in the senior areas...they get nailed by losers taking advantage of them. It's nasty, my grandmother is always fielding off scam artists.

White men in their mid-20s get ripped off more, according to a 2001 stat. Scary.

My boss threw me under the bus yesterday, so my friend and I are seriously considering taking out an SBA loan (or approaching some financers) and starting a multi-faceted production/dub/sales house.

Wait, he fired you? Is that what you mean? Or literally threw you under a bus??

If its the latter, we should make a movie of that...lol.

No, I wasn't fired, just screwed over. Now the new GM thinks I'm a slacker. I'm drafting up a "my side of the story" email, but what's the difference? My boss screwed me over to save her rear.
