My friend and a public access station manager is looking for a media converter (to convert analog to digital) that will work with:
USB 2.0
Windows XP
Movie Maker.
If you guys know of any GOOD products out there, let me know so I can pass on the message to her.
Thanks!

Hi Lisa,
Any of the Canopus A/D converters (http://www.canopus.us/US/products/ADVC_selection_guide/pm_advc_selection.asp) will work fine. However, they all handle DV through a FireWire connection, not USB. You might need a $30 FireWire card for your PC. hope this helps,

I'd definitely go with firewire & DV to keep everything as
compatible as possible. There might be some analog to digital
converters utilizing USB (I think AOpen is coming with a realtime
mpeg2 encoder that has USB support) but often the quality is
not that great.
