I was watching the trailer of Michael Mann's new movie Public Enemies, which looks great by the way. What I noticed was that, the fast car scenes, and some random scenes did not match the other scenes. I found out that the movie was shot on the F23 and the EX1.

Something for all the Sony EX1 owners to cheer about not that they weren't already.

Very interesting, thanks for the heads up Prashanna. I'm very interested to see how this looks on the big screen. I was a little disappointed when I saw the trailer online, some bits looked distractingly video-ish.

And though the video look worked perfectly on Collateral (set in modern Los Angeles), I'm not so sure it's going to feel right on a film set in the 1920s-30s.

Don't forget that "Crank: High Voltage" also used EX1s.

Actually it's Canon's XHA1's.

Actually it's Canon's XHA1's.

They used EX1's for the over-cranked shots.
