Hi,

This evening a made a short test comverting an Avi shot with my XM2 to a flash .swf file.

I used Vegas to render the AVI file, then Sorensson Squeeze to convert it to .SWF.

Made a 320x240, 15fps film, ended up with a 724kb file for about 15 seconds of video/audio.

Here are the result, watch and judge by yourself:

As you may guess, it is my 1.4 years old daughter(named Smilla) that is dancing...and yes, it is me sitting next to her on the floor ;-)

Best regards,

Cute kid, but this is not a very good test of the compression software because very little movement exists in the video. Test with a video with more movement.

beautiful!!! beautiful kid, beautiful video ! agreed, it would be interesting to see a clip with more movement. a couple questions:

what was the size of your original avi fle before compression?

the player window, was that a flash mx template or something else?
