I recently got an XL1s and I am looking for an affordable wireless audio solution for docco work.

My intention is to shoot interview sessions and perform street roving work. I have seem many wireless solutions, however have no idea whats best or whats affordable.

What would be a suitable entry level wireless audio solution for this camera, thats not going to break my bank?

Post your price range. My feeling is the Sennheiser Evolution 100 series is hard to beat. It is priced arounf $450.

I just got the Seni. Evo. 100 series. I love it. I have only used it once and will use it again for the second time.

It's rugged and well made (at least from my experience).

Another question I have:

Can you use the Seni. EV-100 mic kit WITH the XL1s onboard mic or does the onboard mic shut off when you switch to make the MA-100 work?

Aaron, you can plug your MA-100 on Audio 2 and use channels 1 and 2 for the onboard mic and the channel 3 or 4 for the your additionnal mic. Don't forget to put your XL1 in 12 bits audio.
