I am running into a new problem and I could use some help. I have a HD video that is over 2 hours long (encoded at 18Mbs). I think the total time is around 2 hrs 18 mins. The problem that I am having is that after two burns (one to BD-RE one to BD-R) my video stops at the exact same time. Precisely at 2 hrs 3 mins 12 secs, the video and audio stop playing however the play counter on the player continues. If I fast forward, the video stops. If I rewind as soon as I get to a time prior to that 2:3:12 mark, the video starts playing again. The BD-R's are TDK brand, the player is a Sony BDP-S350 (with latest firmware) and the burner is a Buffalo Tech. all-in-one external. I'm using Vegas/Arch to burn the project.
This is the first time this has happened, however this is by far the longest video I have ever produced. Is there a magical 2hr time limit that I don't know about?
Could someone smarter than me please help me out with this one?
Thanks.
