I just bought an XL1s with the idea of shooting my own family oriented TV show. I am so far over my head with this camera I can barely see daylight. So I am searching and groping for all the info I can get.
If there is any accomplished Xl1s operators in the New York area or Long Island, which is where I live, email me, could be a job for you. I am an optioned screenwriter(which means they didn't really want to buy the whole script). With that on my resume and two dollars, I can get on the subway.
As with any wannabe screenwriter, my heart screams for control of my destiny, hence the purchase of the XL1S. Down the road I will be making my own movies but I have to take my first step, first.(TV) So I will take advice, I will listen and I will learn from whom ever is gracious enough to speak to me. And I will share my limited knowledge with you. I have been self employed my whole adult life and serendipitously made some fascinating connections in the entertainment field. Oh yeah, married, four children, (Three girls , one boy) house in the burbs, dogs, cats snake, ferret, rats, lizard, and a lot of fish. All pets, even the rats.

Thanks
Charles Roocke
