What is ProTools LE learning curve? I use Vegas, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Compared to those what would the learning curve for protools be? Hard, medium, easy?

Compared to those what would the learning curve for protools be? Hard, medium, easy? Rob Lohman December 24th, 2003, 03:07 PM I'd think that largely depends on how much you know of audio. Do they have a demo you can check out? Marty Wein December 24th, 2003, 03:12 PM Digidesign offers a demo version called Pro Tools Free. It is only available for Win 98/Me and Mac OS. 8.9/9 http://www.digidesign.com/download/ Peter Jefferson December 26th, 2003, 04:51 AM there is a free version, however it is VERY limited... an i ask what purposes would you be needing pro tools? there are many an engieer that i know of who have ditched pro tools and have gone for the Vegas route... as far as multitrackers go, Vegas is pretty much all you need, however if your after synchronisation, try out Acid4. Soundforge should also be a base element to your system, as it is the finest single track audio editor on the market IMO |
