Hi folks,
Anybody have any ideas about a quality hd underwater pov camera? Seems everything out there is still sd 4X3 and pretty low quality. Like the new Sony, but not waterproof.
Thanks so much for any help!

On Discovery Channel's show, Prototype This!, they used a HD underwater pov camera to guide a mini r/c sub.
It was in, Virtual Sea Adventure (Season 1 Episode 10).
After looking around, I found this site, Tool Suppliers : Prototype This : Discovery Channel (http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/prototype-this/tool-suppliers/tool-suppliers-03.html)
On it, you'll see the link for Graftek Imaging, - High resolution camera for use within ROV.
Graftek Imaging Inc. - Machine Vision Products and Solutions (http://www.graftek.com/)
They make small, yet expensive HD camera rigs, mostly meant for small places.
Hope that helps,
Kevin

There is a underwater housing for the iconix camera. I am quite shure that there will be made a underwater housing for the new panasonic AG-HCK10 camera that will be available - later this year...
Together with the AG-HMR 10 it will be a great system for a underwater camera system that can be controlled above surface.

If someone were going to "Try" and construct a small housing for lets say the new Sony pov system, what type of glass should they use for this type of project?
PVC tube
Silicone
Glass?
