Ok so I exported my 3 short films (all 23.976) and then dropped them into encore. Used the "automatic" transcode settings, and burned a DVD. Looks like crap. I found I can make my own preset for transcoding, so what settings should I be using to make the video not jittery and blurry? Thanks

i tried putting the transcode setting to 23.976, and it sped the video up, and left the audio at the same speed....so thats not the right way to do it. How do I make a 24 frames DVD?

Is your source material HD/HDV? This could be contributing to it looking like crap. Adobe Media Encoder (Main Concept Encoder) uses a horrible algorithm for downscaling, causing your footage to look like complete garbage. If your source is SD though, this should not be a problem. Let me know if you need help downscaling an HD source.

You are correct that it should be encoded at 23.976 fps. Encore has a bug where it's fast mpeg decoder (for preview purposes), does not play back 24p properly in the timeline, however once burned, it plays back like it should. Try burning it (or mount an image if you know how) and see if it still has the drift problem.
