Hey guys,
For wedding parties and business parties, people ask me a lot to have a videoguestbook.
Is there any solution to have this ?
Some kind of software or application which can be installed on a pc so that if people are standing in front of the camera or webcam and when they hit a button, a counter counts down and then starts recording for about a minute or so.

my guess would be the best solution is an extra camera and operator doing a series of very short interviews. Could be either fixed location and tripod mounted or roaming portable. I'd prefer the former with special attention to careful mic'ing and good audio.

I don't video weddings and events so I have no special experience or knowledge in this area.

No, the best solution would be a professional camera team with a sound engineer, a make-up artist and three lighting assistants with boomed hmi units... :-/ but seriously, I think Bart specifically asked for an automated solution because there is no budget for an operator.

I'd be interested in such a software, too. I can also imagine this for regional television: a video booth where people can give 30 second statements. Just like a letter to the editor, only on tv.
