I recently read an article by a wedding planner suggesting that brides save money on weddings by skipping the video.

I wrote a one page article explaining why video is so important.

Feel free to share it with your potential customers, or planners you know. Just please leave my credit at the top.

Wow - that's nice work. It's charming, friendly and makes sense. I like the cake analogy.

Good points. I share similar thoughts on this one when talking to clients. It's important for them to understand that the video aspect also includes an audio aspect... the vow exchange, the father giving the daughter away, laughter at the bouquet and garter toss, first dance song etc.

Like wise, there are very high probabilities of the video crew capturing a lot more of family and friends than a photographer is going to (1) get in the first place and (2) be represented in the prints you chose.

Thanks for sharing that.

We need to educate our brides in order to change the world one video at the time.
