Hello,

Well i wanted to be a Pilot my entire life up until about six months ago when I went on a trip to New Mexico. I had always wanted a camcorder and i saw this trip as a perfect opportunity to purchase one so i did (Sony DCR-TRV38). Well I recorded everything having a great time and brought it back to edit it on my computer (Adobe Priemere 6.5) Well in short I fell in love with making this video, I spent hours on it a day because it was so much fun. Five months later (a month ago) I decided to start a small production company since I loved making videos so much, I bought a (2)GL2's and a bunch of other stuff and started working with them. So far I have made two wedding Videos (paid) a snowboard video (paid) ad a couple shorts just to get more experience. And have a bunch of stuff booked comming up. (trying to get experience doing all kinds of stuff Right now im getting a two year degree and plan to transfer to a four year film school.

I am extremely interested in going into the field and was wondering if anyone knew of any Intern jobs, or any type of small no paid, defered pay , jobs or anyone to show me around a set, production company, film festival or anything, Im willing to work from the botom and have my own transportation

Thanks
-Kevin

Welcome aboard Kevin! Video and film can have that effect on
people indeed. Make sure you really want to go (and need to)
filmschool. It is expensive and some argue whether it will help
that much. Do a search here on the board, there are a few
discussion around from people who actually attended filmschools!

Good luck with your future projects and your business!
