Workload had me drop participation in this forum 'way back, so most of you don't know me... however, I have a brand new MX3000 for sale.
$1300, or make me an offer.
Thanks!

For those of you who don't know about this great Japanese Domestic Panasonic 3-chip hand-held, here's a link with all sorts of NV-MX3000 information, including a PDF manual download and other MX3000 links. By the way, $1300 US is almost a steal for this NEW camcorder. For a time, Q Technologies in the USA was selling it for over $3000 US!!!

Actually, I put it on ebay, and put a message here about the auction.... then saw Chris' post elsewhere that said announcing ebay auctions on dvinfo wasn't allowed! So I edited the post... If someone from this forum would like the camera, I'll cancel the auction (as long as there are no bids yet.) Sorry for the confusion!

I have read about this camcorder on the super video pages. There is lots of good professional information there. I have trouble understanding some of it. Which one is better, the silver MX3000, the silver MX5000 or the silver PV-DV953 camcorder?

The silver (or black mamba) NV-GS100, I think. ;-)

I think for video quality, the (slight) nod goes to the MX3000. The MX5000 adds much better stills and a few other nice features. I haven't have a chance to use the GS70 yet.
P.S. The camera is sold. Thanks, all.
