Davids or anyone else with similar experience,
I am attempting to create LUTs within Premiere CS3 and Prospect4K after using CF Color Corrector.
Working with CFAVI express files created through R2CF I have created a PP files with the same 1024/512 /24fps specs as the files
I am on a new laptop running tryouts for both PP and Prospect4K - away from the studio where I traditionally would be working with these files. This laptop is Vista where my old laptop and desktop are XP. I have been creating LUTs on the other computers without issue for months.
I seem to be actually able to create the LUT (export/movie/CineForm Look File Exporter). The files appear to be .look files but when I attempt to apply a LUT to a new shot, in Playback setting/File Metadata my LUT do not appear in the apply look drop down menu (only "none" is visible.) I am saving the .look files in the same folder as my project and shot files. The shots to which the LUT is theoretically applied does not reflect the color grading when played in Windows Media Player.
I'm certain I am doing something that is wrong but I've been working on this over a day now to no avail.
Many thanks for any help,
David
