I am looking for a video reciver and portable transmiter. The transmitter will be attached to my XL1 while I roam around, and the transmitter will be attached to a TV or video mixer. For this reason the transmiter needs to run of a battery.

Are there any cheap ones out there. I have heard that you could use a consumer TV transmiter, and run that from a 12v battery.

One other consideration is that it needs to transmit on the 2.4GHz frequency (its free).

Any help appreciated,

Ed Smith

Ed,

Might want to check out this link:

No idea what kind of quality you'd get. If you find something that works, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

I found a great 1.2 Ghz Video Transmiter and Receiver, but the problem is that it overheat too fast, and it doesnt come with a batery pack,..

you need to find a way to adapt a battery.

Agus,

Thanks for the link. They also do a 2.4GHz and 12 volt batteries so thats all good. The price also seems good.

Any idea whether it would work with PAL?

Seems interesting.

Thanks,

Ed
