John Locke October 23rd, 2003, 06:28 AM Nice work, Steffen. I left a comment for you at the site.
Steffen Werske October 23rd, 2003, 07:28 AM Hi John
Thank you for the nice comliments.
This time I used music from the content CD of the
Magix Video Deluxe 2003/2004 software.
I hope, you watched the high res version.
Itīs really difficult to compress to a low res version in a size
thats allowed if you want the real player format at the end.
The idea for the script was born in Suntjeīs head.
I love the end scene in the dining room, too. :-)
At the moment are we preparing for our "Green Honeymoon"
project. The shooting will start at may 2004.
And in the winter weīre planning a vampire movie.
But not the kind you all know....
Greetings to all
Steffen
John Locke October 23rd, 2003, 07:41 AM Steffen...here's a secret for you...even though they ask for files to be under 15mb, you can actually upload larger files. I saw one there not long ago that looked too good to be compressed down to 15...turned out it was 30mb.
Vampire movie, eh? Sounds interesting. My favorite vampire movie is an obscure Roman Polanski film called "The Fearless Vampire Killers" and subtitled "(or, Pardon me, but your fangs are in my neck)".
Good luck with all your filming.
Zac Stein October 23rd, 2003, 08:29 AM JOHN!!!!!!!!
I think we are long lost brothers.... that is one of my favorate films of all time!!!!!!
zac
p.s i am the good looking brother
Rik Sanchez October 23rd, 2003, 09:44 AM Have you guys seen a movie called "The Velvet Vampire" at least I think that's the name, I must have been about 12 years old, saw it somewhere, a sexy woman ends up in some deserted town, not sure about the plot anymore, the name sort of stuck with me, I know she gets topless, I think there were motorcycles in it also. But it is a cool name for a movie.
Peter Sieben October 23rd, 2003, 11:33 AM Hi Steffen,
Nice to see more work from you and your group. A productive year you must have. It's almost as a viewer you are getting to know the actress as a familiar face. Good acting, production work and pacing. Keep up the great work!
The movie reminded me a bit of a well known Dutch short movie called "Babyphoned". I can recommend watching it online at
http://www.omroep.nl/nps/dekortefilm/avond/babyphoned2002.html
Although without any subtitles, I think the movie will speak for itself. Great steadycam work by the way. And the sound was done by Jan Schermer, who gave me access to his audio library for our Lady X episode (16).

Steffen Werske October 23rd, 2003, 05:02 PM Hi John
I tried to upload a low res version that was only a little big
more than 7,5 MB ( really only a few KB more)
and the System said : "Error".
So, how did you manage it ?
Would like to know more about your trick.
Our vampire movie is inspired by the movies:
"The Arrival"
"Seven"
"Catpeople"
and
"Interview with a vampire"
We will have two female vampires (Sisters)
and one of them works as a police officer.
Sorry, canīt tell you more now...
It will be a long movie.
Wait for 2004...
John, these were the fangs of Suntje and Antonia in your neck.
Thank You, Peter
Feels good if others like what we produced.
Good luck to all of you :-)
Steffen Werske October 31st, 2003, 08:54 AM Hi John
I still wondering if you would tell me the secret...
How can I upload a file larger than allowed in size
at triggerstreet ?
It doesnīt work....
Maybe I should compress to Quicktime to get better results
but I have no experience with this.
Steffen
Ronnie Grahn October 31st, 2003, 05:09 PM Ahh, The Fearless Vampire Killers. Catched this one on TCM the other day. Haven't seen it since I was a kid.
I'm such a sucker (no pun intended) for Polanski movies.
Steffen Werske November 2nd, 2003, 10:06 AM Roman Polansky was here for a while because his vampire musical
starts now in Hamburg.
In November the show begins.
The musical has the same story like his famous movie
and itīs worth to take a look.
BTW: Donīt forget to watch "Kathrins Proposal" at
Triggerstreet now.
And please review the movie.
Thanks
Steffen
John Locke November 2nd, 2003, 11:06 AM So all you guys know of The Fearless Vampire Killers, eh? This is the first time I've mentioned it where anyone knew what I was talking about.
Steffen, please tell Suntje and Antonia that before they bite, they need to beware of the open sore on my neck. ;)
Triggerstreet just went through a site update not long ago. I wonder if they fixed that leak? They might have. When I uploaded, it was very picky about the dimensions (wouldn't let me upload a 16:9 because my clip height wasn't allowed for some reason). So, I added the letterbox, and uploaded it at 4:3. There was no error warning for size. One of their top contributors told me she uploaded a 30 Mb clip with no problem, too.
So all I can say is make sure the error isn't due to the dimensions of the clip first. And if you still get an error, they must have fixed it. Dang.
(BTW - Do you have Cleaner 6? It does a great job for Quicktime.)
Steffen Werske November 2nd, 2003, 04:07 PM Hello John
O.K. I will ty it out. But my movie was in 4:3 format.
I told you in the summer from "Green Honeymoon".
Now we finished the casting for this movie project.
We have really good actors together now.
Canīt wait to start the shooting.

Till Kraemer November 20th, 2003, 04:09 PM Got to see that musical too though I thought I dont like musicals at all until i watched "Titanic - The Musical" which was pretty impressive in my opinion (especially concerning stage design).
