View Full Version : cleaning the lens Mike Zorger October 22nd, 2003, 02:24 PM How are we suppose to reach in to clean the lens when those 2 plastic pieces are in the way? do you have to take a tiny screwdriver and unscrew them then clean it? I keep a UV filter on my DVC80 at all times -- that's what I clean regularly, not the lens itself. And I can leave the hood on as well... Regardless, though, Mike shouldn't have to do it "when i go out to film everytime" as he said, right? If you keep a UV filter on the cam, then you'd rarely have to clean the lens, right?
