I came across this website:

www.digitalliquidators.com

they sell electronics for unbelievable prices. Canon XL1s for $2250. Panasonic DVX100 for $2400. Canon 1Ds digital camera for $5000 !!!
these prices are too good to be true.

anyone has experience or heard about this site?

Threads of this type don't last long on DVinfo.net, first because most of these 'liquidators' sell gray market items or use bait-and-switch tactics to lure customers, but second because DVinfo.net has selected site sponsors that represent the most reputable and fair product vendors to be found.

But to answer your question: would any legit DV camera liquidator list the Canon XL1 as $100 more than the XL1s? Sell the lens filter kit for $400, or MiniDV tapes for $30 apiece? My guess is, they will refuse to ship your camera without forcing you to purchase overpriced accessories, or worse, charge you $500 for shipping, which is what happened to me when I bought a Canon XL1 from such a dealer as a naive young lad.

And with that, I'm sure the next Wrangler to come along will lock this thread...

We've covered this bottom-feeder before here (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11696&highlight=digitalliquidators).
