I have been having some trouble. I can't find the cineform codec in Vegas.
I reinstalled neoscene and this time i did find the cfhd.dll file in the Vegas 8.0 folder inside the sony folder.
what do I need to do to get it showing up so I can make my master?
thanks for any suggestions!!

Dale, your post isn't real informative on where you expected to find the codec in vegas... or the dll.
Here's where you should be able to find it: File | Render As | Video for Windows (*.AVI), select one of the HD digital intermediate templates, eg. HDV 1080-60i intermediate.
Select "Custom" and look at the video tab. Cineform (of some version) should be selected in the Video format field. Hopefully, the version displayed there is what came with NeoScene, but even if it's 2.5 or 2.8 that came with Vegas it's still a very good codec indeed.

Seth,
problem resolved!!!!! After five days of pulling my hair out you gave me enough info to move ahead.
The neoscene manual did not give that important bit of information!! it could hardly be a called a manual.
I am so relieved
thanks again!!!
