I'm looking for a decent (not an arm and a leg) video player that will allow me to send VHS to the computer via DV Raptor. The deck needs to have a IEEE 1394 port. Any suggestions?

David Rob Lohman April 8th, 2002, 06:05 AM Hi, I know there are several products available that allow you to convert an analog source (like VHS) into a digital DV stream on the fly. I do not remember the names or brands of these products though. Perhaps someone else does. It might be wise to post this in the General DV Discussion because it really is not a platform issue. Good luck!
