I'm working on an independent documentary and I would love to have some footage of Boann's Well and the surrounding land. The segment is a story about trying to find the well...

The doc is being shot in 1920 x 1080 @ 24fps with a Sony EX camera, but others are acceptable.

If you are interested, shoot me an email at kevin.spahr at spahrproductions.com and we'll discuss the details.

Thanks!

I'm going to be in Worcester on Thursday the 13th, and need someone who knows the area to drive around with me and help ( we can use my rental). I'm working on a family related video, and need to go to the Worcester Historical museun, and then hopefully get some photos and b roll at a few other locations.
I'll have my camera and a few odds and ends, but a tripod and a small jib ( not crucial) would be nice.

I'm leaving Florida Mondsay night, so if anyone is available, please contact me asap.
You can email me with your phoine number and I'll get right back.
Thanks

I failed to mention that this is a self-funded project so I was hoping to find someone nearby to avoid travel costs. This location is evidently very hard to find and someone that lives nearby may have a better chance of knowing about it.

These shot are not critical to the project, but would be nice to have...

Hi,

I'm looking to hire a Canon 7D in London on the evening of Sat 15th May. I've got full insurance. I don't have a huge amount of money so I can just about stretch to £50 if that's any good? Of course, I'll collect and deliver and make your life as easy as possible ;)

Many thanks,

Looking for a semi full-time cameraman, editor, and overall techy person in the Kalispell area for a couple Christian programs going on over the next 6 months.

This is a paid job.

It would probably be best for a local person (or someone looking to move to one of the prettiest parts of the world). The work could be 50 hours one week, 20 the next, 0 the next, and 50 the next, etc... Hence, probably best for someone local. But it will probably average around 120 hours per month.

Hi there:

I'm teaching one of my advanced Steadicam workshops in LA on June 7th and 8th. The second day has the students shooting an elaborate "one'r" with their rigs, a scripted scene with four actors. We like to have decent sound on these for playback purposes so we can hear the dialogue cues, as well as for students to have a useable shot for the reels if desired.

We are looking for someone to record sound and transmit to the camera, so it would require a 4-channel mixer and at least 4 wireless mikes (we have one). We shoot the same shot all day. If someone has an interest in Steadicam, it's an opportunity to pick up some tips along the way (the audio demands are not super-intensive).

Pay is $125 for the day with gear. Obviously not much but again, if the Steadicam aspect is of interest, it might be a valuable experience to be a fly on the wall.

Hi everyone, I'm working on putting a DVD together to sell to help raise money for a really good friend of mine. His 11 year old daughter is in desperate need of a liver transplant. I'm looking for a DVD replicator that would be willing to donate some hopefully all of their services to help this wonderful little girl. I'll be needing 1000 DVD copies with case, insert and all. If anyone knows a replicator that might be willing to help out please let me know.

Thanks,
Joe Thatcher

Don't know if anyone would be interested but here's a link to a website that has more info on the girl in need of the transplant and different ways people can help.

Help a young hunter get a liver! - CouesWhitetail.com Discussion forum (http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18820&hl=)

I have yet to find a replicator so I'm still looking and hoping I can find someone willing to donate their services. I don't know for sure but I believe it would be tax deductible for the replicator if one decides to help us out.

Thanks,
Joe

I would really like to help, but 1000 discs is a decent sized production run. I would be able to give you a very significant discount, but I wouldn't be able to do the job on a strictly volunteer basis.

You can get me contact information on my website at JAKKmedia.com if your at all interested.

I am currently budgeting a short film for a client. For this film I will need specific footage from all around the globe, mostly from large metropolitan centres.
Instead of travelling around the globe I thought maybe there are enough people here that could shoot this stuff in HD 1080i and send it to me. I would provide a briefing and require an Mpeg1 clip of the aquired footage before the purchase transaction could take place (I guess - haven't really thought this through - procedural suggestions welcome)

Locations that I am looking for footage from include:
Beijing / Hong Kong / New York / Sao Paolo / Sydney / Dubai or Bahrain / London / Singapore / ect....

From each of these I would need some signature shots of urban landmarks, shots of urban mobility and some specific installations, most of which are publicly accessible.

certain locations would need local contacts for access permits, these would be provided.

At this point it is just an idea, let me know what you think. If you are in any of these places (or similar metropolitan cities) drop me a mail and let me know how much you would charge. Shooting can be done in a day or less in each destination. (one full day is how long I would spend shooting in each city if I travel myself.)

I have several clips of Washington DC landmarks (day and night) in 1080 DVCPRO that a guy hired me for and then disappeared off the face of the earth. Yours if you can use them.

Hi Oliver,

I could shoot San Francisco coverage if you need it. I shoot with a Sony EX3 and can give you straight files from that or from a nanoFlash.

Let me know if it's something you'd need and if there are specific landmarks and I can provide a quote.

Hi everyone, not sure how many people here know or remember me, but I recently finished production on my first feature film.

I am seeking individuals who are looking for feature film credits on IMDB and those looking to expand their resume. This is a simple (but not necessarily easy) position and you do not need to live near me to become involved in this wonderful project.

Seeking Production Assistants, Associate Producers, and Executive Producers. Again, you do not need to live near me.

If interested, please PM or email me.

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in renting me their Panasonic HMC-150 for about a week during the end of July. I have 2 cameras ready to go, but still need a third to complete the setup. I can always go through a rental house, but I figured I'd give the DVinfo community a chance to earn some extra cash for equipment that might otherwise be sitting around.

If you might be interested, shoot me a PM and we can talk. I'm based in Minnesota, but can definitely pay for insured shipping if necessary.

Thanks!

Hi, I'm Kevin. I'm looking for an employer and mentor.

I plunged into freelance videography about two years ago, despite having three kids and a mortgage and so forth. While this year I'm finally reaching profitability, my biz model and skills are stagnating as I'm shooting similar projects for similar clients with flat increases. Quite simply, I've been working alone off of what I read on web boards and what I learned in film school 15 years ago. I need another perspective. Time to shake things up.

My concentrations have been on scientific videography (I worked in cancer research for 5 years prior) and producing videos for churches and non-profits. Most jobs have been one-man-band affairs, although I've managed to PA on a few national reality shows that have rolled through the Charlottesville area. Gadget-wise, I own and shoot an HVX200, Z1U, and HV30, and edit in Final Cut.

My goals are to refine my skills as a videographer in run-and-gun situations (travel, doc, ENG) and gain better understanding of industry standards and practices, considering I just started doing this without ever having worked for any broadcast organization. I'm not afraid to travel (have shot twice in Liberia) and have an incredibly supportive wife. We're thrifty, and I'm admitting inexperience, so my rates are accordingly low :D I'm punctual, professional (perhaps too much so, cold-fish-like), resourceful, and learn readily.

Some work is currently online at out perpetually-under-construction http://www.mcbob.tv

If you think I could help your productions while you help me, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for your time.

Paul Cascio
