Two thumbs up, a little bad soap opera acting, but overall a fun movie.

I saw a little crawl on CNN headline saying Danny Lohner did the soundtrack.

I remember shooting a little video of him in Corpus Christi in a bedroom rehersal for the band he was in, Angor Wat.
I was going to school with Adam Grossman (Skrew) at the time and did a little video shoot with the band. He was a lot younger than Adam and I but we hung out a couple of times. A smart kid back then.

So what is the movie about?

From what I hear, it's a take on Romeo & Juliet, but with modern-day vampires and werewolves. Looks really cheesy. Lots of Matrix-style fight sequences and tight leather, undead killing eachother with guns(?), etc.

First Freddy vs. Jason, now this... The horror genre is really hurting. I want to see a movie that scares me for once.

*** SPOILER ***
Andres hit it on the head, it's basically Romeo & Juliet with vampires and werewolves and a Matrix look. Think of those old B-movie Frankenstein/Dracula/Mummy flics upgraded with today's special F/X sensibilities.

Overall it left me more satisfied than Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

Andres, I think you're right the horror genre is hurting, but I thought this movie just gave it a kick in the pants, though it's more of an action movie than a horror movie.

Amen! I think the last time I was really scared watching a horror movie was Nightmare on Elm Street 3. I was 9 or 10 back when I first saw it.
