Help Help !! I brought a fs-5 a week ago . done my test . all set up and working fine .
Had to fly this morning to a job . went to use it , its worked for a second and now all that comes up is

UNKNOWN DISK FORMAT

FORMAT DISK ?

I clicked yes . but still doesn't work ? still that message and i cant mount it either to do a software update ???

to me it sounds like its internal hard drive is bad or something. if it is still under warranty - have it serviced (time consuming process) - if it is not, i dont know what are your technical skills but these devices are not too complicated to disassemble - i'd take it apart and have the hard drive connected (with a usb to ide/sata) to a computer in order to check it then re-format it or even replace it to a larger capacity lower power consuming hard drive.
