Im a content producer for a trade website LocalGov.co.uk - Your authority on UK Local Government > LocalGov.co.uk - Your authority on UK Local Government (http://www.localgov.co.uk) on UK local government.

my role means i have to sort all the text, pictures and video for the site and although i have reporters writing some of the stories I have to shoot and edit all the video myself.

I use a Canon XM 2 PAL with a shotgun mic and tripod, and a macbook pro with FCP 6 and thats it! I also cant get any formal training as the company refuse to pa for it during the 'down turn'!

I usually make 2-5 min news clips and a few of them can be seen here YouTube - LocalGov's Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/LocalGov) or on the site above.

I recently made a 55 min company video which was shown internally which taught me a lot.

Does this forum cover editing as well as shooting?
