Working on a small project where I have about 70 clips and but I cant find the cameras/tape time code, all I see is the FCE timecodes for the clip. How do I reveal it?

How did you capture the footage? If you used "Non-Controllable Device" in the device presets you won't get tape time code ever.

I captured the video directly off a vx2100 via firewire400, I had "control of the camera off the computer, ff rew etc but not could not capture while in slow motion off the camera. How do I check to see if I had the presets on?
