I am looking for an add-in application going with Final Cut Pro 6 which generate a transition between 2 clips which is like turning pages of a book as illustrated in this web site :

26659 - aw109-main-x.pdf / Page 1 (http://view.vcab.com//showvcab.aspx?count=05/03/2009%2015:30:38-3&vcabid=eanSpppjSelljr)

The page peel available in FCP is not the solution I am looking for. Not enough realistic.
If not available as a FCP add-in, can I find a Motion template ready to be downloaded (I am ready to buy it).

Hi there,

Andrew Kramer has a tutorial at VIDEO COPILOT | After Effects Tutorials & Post Production Tools (http://www.videocopilot.net). Check it out.

There are a number of page turn effects out there, including FCP.
All of them look cheesy until you tweak the settings.

By the way, IMHO the example you posted looked cheesy as well!

The example you posted, isn't specifically a 'transition'. A transition is a way to get from one clip - to another.

The example you posted is an effect employed on an image within a single clip - a graphic that changes one part of a clip, without affecting another part.

After Effects might help.

When I used Adobe Premiere originally, I have a great choice of 3D video transition including a book with a page turning completely to finish a clip and start the next one. I also had other transition like nice wooden picture frames flying around. I am surprised that FCP offers so rudimentary transition effect and all the add-ins I have seen have very little choise in 3D transition animations.
I am begining to regret having migrated from Premiere to FCP.

Interesting. I will look further to see if these clips can be offered in HD format to be integrated in FCP
