Hi everyone!
It's been awhile since i posted something here or on my blog.
But now the workload is getting a little softer and finally I managed to have some time for blogging and for DVi.
Here's a short HL from a wedding I shot in November:
Ana e Luís - melhores momentos (http://luisrolo.com/blog/2009/03/ana-e-luis-melhores-momentos-2/)

Hope you enjoy it.

Luis...

I liked it... Especially the colors. The transition from the dress to the bride was perfect.
The song was a little different then usual, but everything seemed to flow perfectly to it.

It seems that everything in europe generally plays well for the camera. dancing, venues, everything.
I got married over in italy and even though I didn't film it, i still did the edit. The video came out amazing. Much better looking then i could probably setup now. It's all about location.

Stephen, thanks a lot for the comment.
The song was chosen because the B&G are totally crazy about it (and I'm a big Bowie fan myself).

You know, it's funny how what we think about the location is exactly the other way around. We think everything in the States looks better.
Maybe we should trade places for some time :)

Luis, that was well done, color grading had a "definite character", enjoyed it overall.
Where is Portugal was it?
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comment Oleg.
I shot this in a city called "Ponte de Sor".

Hello Luis,

I loved it, the color grading was very, very good and fit the piece very well. I agree with Stephen about locations in europe, they add so much to the character and artistry and your film really picked up on that. That was one spunky bride though . . . LOL.
