Hi there,
I recently acquired a Nikkon adaptor for my Z7U so I could attach a Nikkor 80-200mm long lens to it.
One thing that I noticed is that, once attached, if I grip the end of the long lens and try to rotate it while it is supposedly fixed it moves ever so slightly. In other words it rotates just a tiny little bit. It is a very small movement--maybe a millimeter or a fraction of a milimeter--but it bugs the hell out of me because I know that since I'm using a long lens the image will be sensitive to even slightest movement, so I want that lens to be solidly fixed in position, just like the Zeiss lens that comes with the camera is.
It appears that the Mike Tapa adaptor attaches solidly to the camera and does not move one bit. It is when I attach the lens to the adaptor that the lens moves that itty tinny tiny bit.
Is this normal? Have those of you who use a similar configuration with this adaptor experienced the same? Is this a limitation of this configuration or should I be returning the adaptor and exchanging it?
Hope the problem makes sense as described!
Thanks!
