I'm using After Effects CS3.
I want to have 4 people in front of the camera, they're musicians so will likely be quite active and I want to de-saturate all colours apart from their clothing. Any advice on where to begin would be appreciated.

Have them all wear the same color clothing, one that doesn't match the background. The isolate the color in curves and desaturate it.
