Hi All,
There is a guy selling a used XL1s on ebay, and mentioned something about "HD upgradable" so, I asked him, and he said that you can send these into Canon, and they sell a HD Card that will allow HD content to be captured?
Seems unlikely, but is there any truth to this? - I thought that the biggest limitation would be the CCD's in any SD camera - since an HD camera's CCDs or sensors have many more pixels? - but on can dream...
I know there is software that will upconvert SD to HD (in fact I have a plug in for FCP that does just that) - but it's not the same as recording native 1080P - correct?
Please, someone tell me I'm Dreaming than an XL1s can record in HD :-)
Cheers!
