I've been doing more and more still work recently and just finished this video. This makes me realize why I wedding photos will never replace a good video.

I don't think that comparing stills with video is meaningful, it's comparing apples and pears. Photos has a contain quality that make them unique, likewise video has different qualities. The two complements each other, I for one admire beautiful photography, I love hanging a beautiful canvas on the wall of loved one's. I'm not one for albums I rarely go through old albums I like photos displayed. Video is at it's best for capturing memories and serving as an emotional reminder, photos are meant to be admired. I wouldn't chose one over the other and believe both fill equally important roles, I could even throw art into the mix to bring things into perspective, I wouldn't say that a photo or video is better than a good painting, although all are visual arts each is vastly different.
