Similar to the micro four thirds I have been drooling over for more than half a year, Samsung is also bringing out an SLR design without a mirror block. It has a full APS-C sized sensor (pretty close to Super 35)

No mentioning of movies in the press release, but there is a picture here that clearly shows a movie icon on the function dial:

The more competition the more likely it is that we will get very affordable large sensor video SLRs with some manual control for the many enthusiasts on this forum, including myself. I am not suggesting this replaces a pro tool. But as a shallow DOF addict, something like this may replace my FX1.
