Hi, I've just joined DVIN.

I bought a Sony SR11 camcorder to film the kids. The family was already sick of me filming but everything was OK until I installed Vegas Movie Maker and started playing with it. I think I might be in love. :)

I'm also loving these forums, so thanks to all the contributors and I look forward to learning more as time goes on.

There are quite a few Aussies on here, and we hope you learn a lot from the posts. Everyone is always willing to help out with a problem. Once you start recording the kids, then other family events, then a few topics of interest, and begin to edit it all and make DVDs you are hooked. The Sony is a nice little camera, good choice. I have a Canon HV20, mini DV and edit on Vegas pro.
