But you also need the new firmware update for the drive which is also available. Finally.. write back to the Mac with the U1. -gb- Malcolm Hamilton November 26th, 2009, 09:09 AM Hi there, I shot yesterday with my EX-1, and am editing this time in FCP. I know I need the XDCAM Transfer software to import, but I'm a little confused. The link to the download site (for the most recent version, 2.9), provided on Sony's XDCAM software page, doesn't work ("The page cannot be displayed", etc.). I don't know how I got mixed up; too many numbers, perhaps. One more quick question: Once I get this Transfer Tool, can I keep it in any folder I want in my Applications folder (I'd like to keep it in a folder named 'Sony EX-1' if I can)?
