Hey guys, my name is John Stuart. i am a student at Mississippi State. i am really into the whole filming and producing stuff. Unfortunately, i am not in a major at MSU that deals with film or anything. I am an ITS Major. I have been filming with my Handy Cam by Sony - nothing special, but i am looking into getting something a little more professional. i have a couple of ideas of what i want, but im on here to get some advice and hopefully make some friends that are interested in the same thing i am. I will be making some new posts on different forums so hopefully yall can answer some questions.

May I suggest that before you start asking questions on the Forums, you do the footwork and read.

Read till your eyeballs drop out.

Use that Google Search box at the bottom of every screen and hammer it mercilessly.

Just about every and any question you'll want to ask has been asked and answered ad nauseum already here, but if your searching gives nothing, well, we're all here.

Do familiarise yourself with the various Forums, this site is huge and has quite a few forums you wouldn't know existed till you start burrowing.
