Can't find it in the manual how to set the screen display so it will appear also on an external monitor that's connected to the RCA video out. Now it only shows the image without any screen info. Any pointer/help appreciated.

Hi Peer, I'm on H1 but I believe you also can do this on the XL-2:

Hit menu - display setup - tv screen set to ON

Hope this is the same for the XL-2?
