Canon Introduces the New TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II and the TS-E 17mm f/4L Tilt-Shift Lenses (http://www.usa.canon.com/templatedata/pressrelease/20090217_tse_lenses.html)
TS-E 17mm f/4 L (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=156&modelid=18174) ($2,499.00 MSRP)
TS-E 24mm f/3.5L (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=156&modelid=18175) ($2,199.00 MSRP)
Given that the Mark II version of the 24mm f/1.4 had significant improvements (and commensurate price increase), I bet the new TS-E 24mm will be greatly improved as well.
But for me personally, the 17mm TS-E will be a huge draw. I am really excited to see what kind of images I can create with such an ultra wide field of view and tilt/shift, especially at 30 FPS.
