I am going to purchase a Z7 , as soon as I sell my boat, but was wondering what you guys have done with this amazing camera. Can everyone here that has an Z7 show me a picture of their rig. I would like to see some test clips too please. If I am going to spend around 5,000 dollars I want to be sure of my purchase. Test clips and pictures PLEASE! Thanks.

Michael

Love the camera. Bit heavy for long periods of hand held but makes my left arm stronger!

Jonathan Richards, what type of battery power is that? Are you running camera & light off the same source?

Don't have any pics of my rig yet, but first story on this was shot w/ my Z7:

Zach Love:

Yes, I power the top light from the camera battery.

It's a system devised by Hawkwoods here in the UK i believe.

DV Link Battery-System - Sony Z1/FX1/Z7/PD150/PD170 (http://www.hawkwoods.com/site_pages/products/dv_link/sony_v/sony_v.asp)

Works really well!
