Often times I need to test a new editor or encoder or player and need to find a small sample of a specific file format or codec. Would it be possible to have a section where the good people on this forum could contribute test files so we can all download them?

If drive space is an issue, I am willing to host all or part of them on my Godaddy hosting account.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ervin! Drive space isn't the issue -- the interface is. I've been meaning to provide such a feature here for quite some time. We're getting our revamped articles / reviews / static written content side of the site ready to go, and then the video library will follow next.

I tried to post this message, but after a minute or two just sitting there it gave me an error message, something about time-out. I tried again, and again, three times in all. Now I see the message posted three times... please delete the other two.
